12th Anniversary Party!

Saturday October 24th

Monk's is turning 12, we're throwing a BIG Party, & you're all invited! Join us on Saturday, October 24th as we celebrate another trip round the sun for your favorite local brewery. What to expect?

An expanded beer list with: Two collaboration brews. A traditional Bock brewed with Geisthaus Brewing here in Sacramento & a Biere De Garde with Apogee Brewing out of SoCal. Plus four variations of a stout, aged in Toasted Oak Whiskey barrels (Untreated, with Peanuts, with Pecans, & with Walnuts). Plus two more beers by Monk's. A barrel-aged Saison dry-hopped & bottle conditioned & a West Coast IPA.

Not to be out done by all the great beer, Chef Nycole has put together a special menu that brings back a couple of all time favorites, our Carbonnade Flemish Stew & Chocolate Mousse Dessert. Plus a Bock Beer Poutine, Roasted Brussel Sprouts, Grilled Duck, & a Seared Cod. All that on top of our regular menu. Come hungry!

And let's not forget that Monk's was again named "Best Bar" by Style Magazine this year. Our bar manager Kevin is turning back the clock with a couple $12 cocktails (long time fans will remember) and cracking open the last bottles of a private barrel 12 year old whiskey we've been saving for just this occasion.
