May 1, 2018

Location: The Monk’s Cellar, 240 Vernon St. Roseville, CA 95678
Date: Saturday, May 19th 11 am to 11 pm

Firkinfest is back for a 3nd year! Placer County’s best breweries are once again producing a firkin (or two) for what’s become one of the coolest Sacramento Beer Week events! In one day you’ll have the chance to sample over a dozen different firkin beers from local breweries: including cask versions of old favorites and unique one off beers you may never see again. This event is open to the public and there is no cost to attend (other than the beer of course)!

Placer County breweries that produced special cask(s) for this event include:
The Monk’s Cellar Brewery & Public House
Moksa Brewing Company
Out of Bounds Brewing Company
Loomis Basin Brewing Co.
Auburn Alehouse Craft Brewery & Restaurant
Crooked Lane Brewing Company
Moonraker Brewing Company
Knee Deep Brewing Company
FiftyFifty Brewing Company

Here’s a sneak peek at a couple of the cool one-off beers you’ll be trying:

The Monk’s Cellar Brewery & Public House Traditional Maibock lager aged in a Gin Barrel with juniper berries and fresh lime, for a beer take on a classic Gin and Tonic.

Moksa Brewing Company Imperial Stout cold steeped Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee with Ghanaian cacao nibs.

Auburn Alehouse Craft Brewery & Restaurant “Gold Digger IPA” with a third dry hop right in the cask of Simcoe, Citra and Chinook hops.

Moonraker Brewing Company “Vespers Nine” a milk stout with vanilla beans and cacao nibs.

FiftyFifty Brewing Company “Coffee Eclipse” with coconut, almonds and cacao nibs.

Out of Bounds Brewing Company Pina Colada “Joyrider IPA” with coconut and pineapple added to the cask.

…and more!!!

Hope you all are ready for some fun, tasty, weird beers!
